A Special Place

The Barn at Beal enjoys a spectacular location overlooking Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve (NNR) which is 15 miles long, covering 3500 hectares of rare sand dunes and mudflats and home to important species such as waders and geese. It is one of the country’s most important places for wildlife and natural features.

WE ARE OPEN SEVEN DAYS A WEEK 10.00am to 4.00pm

Breakfast 10.00 - 11.30am
Lunch 12 - 3.30pm (last orders 3.30pm)

We serve a range of hot and cold drinks and our own homemade traybakes and cakes. We are fully licensed.

Our meals use fresh ingredients that are locally sourced.

In our Gift Shop we sell our own label jam, marmalade and chutney, and a range of products from local producers. As well as locally-themed books, work by local artists and a varied selection of other interesting 'gifts to give'.

The Birds of Prey Centre is now closed and will re-open in the Spring.
